Troubleshooting

Why am I not able to access a Network Drive from the File, Open Database... menu of CDB?
Using Windows Explorer, please verify you can see the drives you are expecting. If the drives do not appear in the Windows Explorer, you will need to map those drives in Windows Explorer (see Windows Explorer Help). Once you map the network drive, you will be able to see the mapped drive letter after choosing File, Open Database... menu in CDB. Top
When I log into my PC using a different login name, the program thinks it is on a 30-day trial?
Since you are logging into your PC with a different login name, you will need to re-enter your registration code. Start the application. Choose Help | Enter Registration Code... menu to enter the registration code that was emailed to you upon purchase to convert the trial version to a licensed version. All your current data will remain intact. The Windows logged in user must have enough rights to install software on their local machine and update Windows Registry keys. If not, please consult your network administrator or IT department. Top

Why am I not able to view Customer Database Pro Help on Windows Vista and Windows 7?
Windows Vista/Windows 7 does not automatically include the requisite Windows Help Viewer for the traditional help files. The Help Viewer installation can be found at Microsoft's website at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=91.

After installing the above program you would be able to view the help files. For example, start Customer Database Pro and choose Help | User Manual menu to view the help file containing the user manual.
